Intervju med Robs och Kristens stuntdubbles
Alan: “Today a girl approached me asking for a photo. Instead of me she took a photo of my feet. When I asked her why she’d done this, she told me that it was my feet after all that will be seen on screen stepping into the sun on the piazza.” [laughing]
Being body doubles the two of them were used for light- and blocking rehearsals and even the scene when Bella runs over the piazza to prevent Edward from doing the deadly step into the bright sun at noon, has been done with them.We’re interested to know if he fell over when “Bella-Azzurra” crashed into him, just as Robert Pattinson did when Kristen Stewarts jumped at him.
Alan: “… That’s my reply to this question.” His gamine grin reveals the truth although Azzurra seems to be even more petite than tenuous Kristen. And it’s not only her figure that relates her with the actress. From some distance even Alan got messed up spotting her on the piazza.Alan: “I waved at her wishing her a good morning when I was suddenly realising it was Kristen getting prepared for the fountain scene.”
Kristen waved pleasantly back. Another proof for the cast being nice and open instead of distanced as they’re often said to be. Azzurra and Alan give confirmation to that. As soon as they were in a private environment they were nice and easy going.Alan: “Everybody was relaxed on the set. All of us could personally feel the energy that was given to us by the enthusiastic fans but as well the responsibility that it brings with.”
Good to know! Rumours were spread around Montepulciano that Robert in particular was avoiding getting in touch with fans.
Azzura: “That’s not true. He was even ready to not eat during his break to say ‘Hello’ to the fans. But security didn’t allow him.”Läs hela här

Of course the book by Stephenie Meyer talks about Volterra, but as always in the cinema, we had to take into account some logistical needs that we did try different location also ended up deciding to run in Montepulciano. We hope to be able to really do justice to both Volterra that in Montepulciano “
Därför valde Chris Montepulciano över Volterra -
"Chris Weitz said that he opted for a need for symmetry and photography. It also took the occasion to say that both cities are beautiful. He added that if there is someone to “blame” for this decision then that’s him because he was a very strong wish of the square instead of Montepulciano to Volterra. And I tell you my impression when he spoke you could see clearly that he has done a very professional choice based on that of which in his view, the film needed to make up."

First two days will focus on Bella trying to make her way through the throngs of festival revelers to reach Edward. She jumps in the fountain, wades through it, towards him. Of course she makes it in time at which point he pulls her into a building.
By the way – if you’re wondering, yes, they’ll be trying to include the “slamming” into his body.
When they reunite, Bella and Edward do kiss followed by the arrival of Jane and the others.
They’ll also film something from Alice’s perspective on these two days. She “sees” Edward sparkling in the sunlight.
Some the driving sequences will also go ahead on Tuesday and Wednesday, schedule permitting. .
On Thursday they’ll be jumping into a hole in the ground. This will likely be Robert Pattinson’s final day barring any major delays – heads up to you twi-hards who’ve made the journey.
Friday is more driving and Porsche work.
